PARIS Conditioning the alliance between auto manufacturers Renault (RENA.PA) and Nissan (7201.T) is vital, said French junior economic system minister Agnes Pannier-Runacher on Thursday, amid warning signs of a possible management shake-up at Renault.
&ldquoWe must deal with the problems at Nissan and enhance the alliance,&rdquo Pannier-Runacher advised BFM Organization.
Renault, like its alliance spouse Nissan, remains reeling from the arrest this past year of former manager Carlos Ghosn on accusations of monetary misconduct. Ghosn denies any wrongdoing.
The French state includes a 15Percent stake in Renault, which often includes a 43.3Percent stake in Nissan.
